General Enquiries
Once appointed, the survey will be booked at the earliest opportunity with the vendor or estate agent. After the physical inspection, you will receive your report by email as a PDF within 3 working days.
All surveys are carried out and written up by a full member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors). Your surveyor conducts the inspection and completes the report personally.
Absolutely. Katoli understands that the survey is for you to understand the building and make an informed decision. We encourage a discussion with the surveyor before the inspection to identify any particular concerns.
Yes. If specifically requested, the report can comment on the potential for loft conversion or extension works. This does not guarantee planning approval but assesses the building's capability to receive such works.
Once you have read the report, you can discuss it directly with the surveyor who carried out the inspection by email or telephone.
No. Katoli Building Surveyors do not carry out property valuations.
No specialist testing is carried out. These require suitably qualified engineers. However, a visual inspection of services is included with condition ratings and advice provided.
